Deep blue azurite with chrysocolla and malachite in leached, franklinite-rich ore from one of the upper mine levels at Sterling Hill, peripheral to the mud zone beneath the Passaic pit. Calcite has been leached from this specimen and replaced with copper carbonates and silicates. Originally in the J.L. Paiva collection, this example is richer in azurite than most and is now no. FMM-6196 in the collection of the Franklin Mineral Museum.
