In the event of hazardous weather (snow/ice), the trip will be cancelled.
Minimum age allowed - 18
Meet at the Franklin Mineral Museum parking lot at 8:30AM sharp to sign waiver forms and check your membership status.
Personal protective gear is advised! Safety glasses are mandatory!

Meet at the Franklin Mineral Museum parking lot at 8:30AM sharp to sign waiver forms and check your membership status.
Minimum age is 18 years old.
Personal protective gear is mandatory. Steel/Composite toed boots, Hard hat, Safety vest, long pants, gloves, and safety glasses. You are required to take and pass an MSHA test before entering the quarry. If you arrive late, you will be turned away and not allowed in the quarry.

  The FOMS Annual Banquet starts at 6:00 pm on Saturday at the Lyceum Hall of the Immaculate Conception Church,
located at the south end of Franklin’s Main Street.
Tickets may be obtained at the FOMS show table for $25.00.
The meal is an all-you-can-eat buffet; soda, tea, and coffee are included.
• BYOB •
After the banquet there will be an auction for the benefit of the FOMS.
Please plan on donating a good specimen, artifact, book, etc.!

Limited to the first 50 people who register and pay in advance. The cost is $150 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee per person and an additional $10 per pound of rock collected on that day. The event will be held RAIN or SHINE. Franklin Mineral Show admission fee also required upon arrival.

The ticket price covers the show, and The Pond outdoor swap:
$7.00 per day for adults, $5.00 per day for children (12-18).
Admission for children under 12 is free.

The Pond Swap-and-Sell sponsored by the FOMS,
takes place outdoors on the Franklin Fire Department grounds
9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday
10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Sunday.
Show admission required.

  9:00 AM - Noon - FOMS Field Trip - Collecting at Limecrest-Braen Stone Quarry, Limecrest Road, Sparta, NJ.
Ages 18 and older. Arrive at the quarry at 8:30am to check in and sign waivers. PPE is mandatory. Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, safety boots (steel or composite toe) and gloves.
