The Franklin Mineral Digest was the official publication of the Franklin Mineralogical Association, founded October 29, 1957.
The FMA founder and editor was Gerald Navratil, who published just two annual issues.
In 1960 the FMA became the Franklin-Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society.
